Sandi has known since she was a little kid that doing hair was her passion. She powered through her senior year of high school while beginning her cosmetology school journey at the same time. She graduated from cosmetology school in 2006.

 

In 2012 she received her Redken specialist and master specialist certifications with focuses on color and cutting. In 2013 she spent 4 days at the Redken Exchange for an in-depth cutting class. In 2014 she received her senior cosmetology license through the state of Maryland which allowed her to teach and take on apprentices.

In early 2020 she received her Invisible Bead Extensions® certification and she fell in love with her career all over again. By the end of 2020 she had opened a small, more intimate salon space with her business partner. She has taken 4 3-month long masters classes focusing on business, cutting, color, and technique. Upon the completion of these classes and attending a retreat in Utah she earned the title of Elite Artist within the company. in 2022 she obtained her Utah cosmetology license and is now dual licensed in Maryland and Utah. She has also attended multiple in person classes shadowing and at the IBE® education center in Saint George, Utah. She was an educator during hands on training at the IBE® convention in Las Vegas in 2022. She won the 2022 award for Best Flip Up with over 1,000 entries from all over the world, as well as the 2024 standout fashion color award. ​
